wide eyed wonder
i have my first ever pair of contacts in my eyes as i write today's entry. been wearing them for almost 4 hours, the day's prescribed time limit. it feels really weird to be able to see my face in the mirror without glasses. and sometimes i'm even forgetting that i'm not wearing glasses when i don't look in the mirror...it's like the glasses are
inside!! i do have a slight something-in-my-eye feeling, but it's not really bad or uncomfortable. it's just weird to be able to see everything without my glasses! i guess it's something hard to explain when i've been wearing glasses for over a decade now. i must admit that the vision isn't as great as with my glasses, but i guess it takes a bit of getting used to. well, that's what this trial pair is for...i'll have them for two weeks and then go back to get my 6-months' supply. exciting, eh?
