little things that matter

energizer bunny

that's me only when i'm shopping, these days. or cooking maybe. two things i enjoy a lot...and the only times that i have tons of energy. shopping, of course, is only good when u have money. something students don't have a lot of, obviously. but i've spent more money this month than i've earned...i'm usually not this bad...february is always a hard month to deal with...plus an extra expense of a hair cut. was very excited to get my hair cut of course, and was more or less happy with it...but my hair's such a nuisance regardless of whatever way it's cut. my sister got mad that i cut my hair as it was growing long after having had it short for over a year...but it just wasn't doing anything for me....i don't dig the whole tie-it-back-and-look-like-a-grandma look anymore.... my sister's the epitome of the energizer bunny...of course she's 8 yrs younger than me, and has the youthful excitements all 16-yr-olds do...the girl's wonderful. poor baby had an accident a couple of weeks back and nearly broke her toe...she fractured it, and had to put her leg in a cast and everything...it must have been super painful, but she tends to take everything with a grain of salt. when i spoke to her on the phone the day after the incident, she was all smiles and enjoying the attention from all family and friends, and just generally being her jolly self, and not complaining abt the pain at all. i miss her :o( ok well, i guess the blog needed a change so i went for it. unfortunately, the font colours that i used for the other template limit my choices for new templates...so i'm going to go ahead and use the darker templates until i'm far enough away from the light fonts so that i can open up more options for me to choose from. don't know if that makes any sense at all, but whatev. also, the time from here on will represent GMT -5:00, but the timings for the previous blogs will remain messed up. right now, i only have the energy to blog...i peaked at the hour and a half i spent working this morning...hehe. stupid blogger pissing me off, though, cuz it won't let me post pictures :( it's a new beginning ;) happy valentine's day all!! xoxoxoxo
