did i already write about my lost new balance shoes? i only got them a few weeks ago - hmm, maybe a month ago...and i was so fond of them. yes, they were pricey, but they were one of the most comfortable pair of shoes i've ever worn. yeah i know sneakers are meant to be comfortable, but these were com-ffffffyyyyyyyyyyyyy. it would almost be like wearing no shoes if it hadn't been for the heatwave. anyway, long story short, i left it at a new york hotel, and just didn't think about them until i got home to guelph and got paranoid about them having been stolen. only to realise that nope, i'd been dumb enough to LEAVE them behind!was very sad about them when the hunt for them ended without any luck.what else? well, my sweetheart is gone again - this time for work purposes. we spend a lot of time together since i moved to guelph, mainly because of me, but this summer i've been meaning to go camping with him and his housemate. it hasn't happened yet because he keeps leaving! maybe in august...so i'm in guelph this weekend, having bought my ticket to go to kingston next weekend. no sign of the cottage for next weekend (sorry ms. eire). i think the people i emailed about the cottage are away.the pic depicts my NB dilemma.
